Tom Boylan Handmade Glass Beads
Tom Boylan has been making borosilicate glass beads for the last 20 years. Tom is a self taught bead artist. His designs are entirely his own unique creations. Tom does not consider his beads a "production " commodity. He focuses on quality rather than quantity, and so does not "pump" the beads out in volume. They are made by hand, one at a time, via sometimes pains-taking process that Tom developed himself.

Beads & Jewelry by Terri Caspary Schmidt
I became enchanted by melting glass in a flame during the summer of 1999 in a one-day workshop taught by beadmaker and jewelry designer Eleanore Macnish. Before discovering lampworking, my creative life focused on fiber arts, including surface design on silk and the Japanese process of Katazome, which involves complex stencil cutting and resist dying using natural pigments on silk and linen. Like most people discovering hand-made beads, I was thrilled by the work of the pioneer artists of the contemporary glass bead making movement. I have studied with and continue to be inspired by the work of beadmakers Sage and Tom Holland, Michael Barley and Larry Scott.

Gail Crosman Moore
Through careful manipulation, solid glass rods and hollow borosilicate tubing are turned molten with the aid of an oxygen/propane driven torch. With this molten material and inspiration derived primarily from single celled creatures found in both the plant and animal kingdoms, my beads, jewelry, ornaments, and small sculptures are made.

Jennifer Geldard- Glass Art
I have been creating Lampwork beads on and off since 1994. Primarily self-taught, I learned the basics of bead forming and technique through books and watching over the shoulders of friends. Lately, my focus has been on enamels, reactive glass and metals. I'm interested in the textures I have been able to create by allowing the glass to speak for itself.
Kristen Frantzen Orr Artglass Beads & Jewelry
Kristen's handmade glass beads blend her love of nature with her background as a watercolor artist. A single bead can take hours to make, as she draws and sculpts with molten glass over the flame of an oxygen-propane torch. To add detail to her work, she makes special canes from multiple colors of glass, and by combining these component parts with layers of transparent colors, she creates depth and captures an exciting play of light.
